Email Gate turns a coupon into a list-builder: the coupon is hidden behind a form until the visitor submits their email address. (Looking to email the coupon itself? That's Email Delivery.)
Per-coupon setup #
Coupons gain an Email tab in the editor:
- Email Feature — set it to Email Gate for this coupon.
The tab also holds the gate message, button text, placeholder, success message, access-email subject and custom body — plus a terms-consent checkbox (label + linked page) and a per-address send limit.
What visitors see #
The coupon is replaced by the form; submitting emails the visitor an access link that unlocks the coupon. The link is valid for 7 days, and a cookie keeps the coupon unlocked for 30. Editors and shop staff with coupon-edit rights bypass the gate so they can preview.
Site-wide settings #
Coupons → Options → Email manages everything shared with Email Delivery:
- Email Templates — the Gate Access (and Coupon Delivery) emails, editable in place.
- From address / name, a deliverability health panel (blacklist, SPF checks) and Send Test Email.
- Rate limiting per IP and per address, and logging with retention and GDPR anonymization options.
