Expiration Display styles how the expiration renders on advanced-template coupons — plain text, with a clock icon, or as a live counter.
It's an Add-ons feature, not a Pro one: Pro owns the expiration engine itself (dates, recurring rollovers, what happens on expiry), while Add-ons adds these display styles for its advanced templates.
Per-coupon setup #
On a coupon using an advanced template, the Expiration Display control appears on the Content tab:
- Expiration Display choices: Text, Icon + Text, Text + Icon, expiration only, counter only, or Expiration + Counter (the Pro print counter rendered inline on the coupon).
Beneath the mode you set the display text, the icon, and font/background colors so the expiration band matches the template design.
The site-wide default lives under Coupons → Options → Defaults. The underlying expiration behavior — dates, recurring rollover, ranges — is unchanged; this feature only styles the display. Modern Ticket, Classic and Image coupons keep the plain "Expires on:" line.
