The counter tracks how many times a coupon's print view has been opened — and can retire the coupon automatically once a limit is reached.
Setting up the counter #
The counter lives on the editor's Expiration / Counter tab:
- Activate Counter — turn counting on. Choose Unlimited Counter to count views without ever stopping the coupon.
- Views Limit — with the standard counter, the coupon stops showing once views reach this number.
- Counter Display — show or hide the "X of Y" count under the coupon on the print template.
Views shows the current count; tick Save Views if you want to hand-edit that number (to reset it, for example) when you update the coupon.
What visitors see #
Each print-view visit increments the count. With the display on, visitors see how many coupons have been claimed — useful scarcity for limited offers.
The coupon above is a Modern Ticket, which currently repeats the print control in the print view — that duplicate is a known cosmetic issue, not the counter.
