Download the version you want from your account at artifexrouting.com, then remove the current plugin and upload the new zip — your coupons and settings are preserved.
Normally updates arrive automatically once your license is active — if you are only trying to hurry along a release that has not appeared yet, click "Check for updates" on the Coupon Creator row of the Plugins screen first (Coupon Creator 3.6.2 or newer; see Why isn't the update showing?). To install a specific version by hand:
- Back up your site first. This process does not delete coupons or settings, but a backup is always wise.
- Get the zip: for Coupon Creator Pro, download the version you want from your account at artifexrouting.com under Purchases/Downloads. For the free Coupon Creator plugin, use the Advanced/Previous Versions section of its wordpress.org listing.
- In WordPress, go to Plugins, deactivate Coupon Creator Pro, then delete it. Deleting the plugin files does not remove your coupon data.
- Go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, choose the zip you downloaded, and click Install Now.
- Activate the plugin, then re-check your license under Coupon Creator → Options → Licenses (see Activate your license).
If the WordPress uploader rejects the file, install it via FTP or cPanel instead — see Install Pro manually (FTP/cPanel). Remember that the free plugin and Pro should be on matching versions — see What version of Coupon Creator do I need?.
