Coupon Creator Pro builds directly on the free Coupon Creator plugin, so the two are designed to run as a matched pair. Pro 3.6 requires Coupon Creator (free) 3.6 or newer. If Pro falls too far behind, Coupon Creator switches it off with a notice naming the plugin to update — your coupons and settings are untouched, and the pending update stays available on the Plugins screen (Coupon Creator 3.6.2 or newer) so one click brings the pair back in sync.
The simplest rule: keep automatic updates on for both plugins so they stay in sync. Coupon Creator Pro 3.6 also requires WordPress 6.5 or newer and PHP 8.2 or newer.
