Coupon Creator only sends usage data if a site administrator explicitly chooses Allow in the optional tracking notice. Choosing Do Not Allow keeps tracking off. One choice covers the full Coupon Creator family — Core, Pro, and Add-ons do not ask separately.
Usage reports are normally sent once a month to Artifex Routing Co and contain:
- Your site URL and name, WordPress and PHP versions, site language, character set, and server software.
- The active theme and the filenames of active and inactive plugins.
- The installed Coupon Creator, Pro, and Add-ons versions.
- A site installation ID used to recognize the same installation after a URL change.
- A limited allowlist of Coupon Creator feature toggles and display choices.
- Whether custom CSS, a Google Analytics ID, or a custom coupon URL base is set — never the contents of those fields.
The opt-in notice also offers to subscribe the administrator to the Artifex Routing Co newsletter. If accepted, the administrator's email address is included. Coupon content, coupon codes, custom CSS, analytics IDs, license keys, customer email addresses, and visitor activity are not part of usage reports.
If you allowed tracking, deactivating the plugin also shows a short optional exit survey ("Sorry to see you go") asking why — answer it or click Just Deactivate to skip; either way the plugin deactivates normally. The survey never appears if you never opted in.
Visitor data #
The Core and Pro plugins do not use telemetry to track people who view or print coupons. They do not send visitor browsing activity to Artifex Routing Co.
Some optional features handle data on your own site:
- A Pro Google Analytics ID on the print view loads Google Analytics under your site's own consent and privacy setup.
- Add-ons Email Delivery and Email Gate process visitor email addresses and can keep local delivery logs.
- Add-ons Dynamic Code, Click Reveal, Email Gate, and MultiPrint can use browser cookies or a visitor session to remember access, generated codes, or a print cart.
