Every confirmation email contains a secure cancellation link. Clicking it opens a confirmation page showing the event, slot, and name; confirming there releases the spot and promotes anyone waiting.
Two settings govern this, both on the event's Event Details tab:
- Allow attendees to cancel their own signup — turn this off and no cancellation link is sent.
- Cancellation deadline (hours before) — how late the link keeps working.
48blocks self-cancellation inside the last two days.
Logged-in users have a second route: the [manifyst_my_signups] list has a Cancel action on each row.
Past the deadline, or when self-cancellation is off, an organizer can still cancel on someone's behalf: open the event, go to the Signups tab, and click Cancel on their row. The deadline only applies to attendees cancelling themselves.
