The Steuard Menu block puts one published Menu post — Toast, Manual, Composed, or Combined — on a page, with a live preview in the editor canvas. Layout and display choices live on the Menu post itself, so the block has a single job: pick the menu. Using the classic editor instead? See Adding Menus with the Classic Editor.
Fastest way to create a menu page #
After at least one Menu post is published, open Steuard → Menu Options → Dashboard. In checklist step 2, choose the menu and click Create menu page. Steuard opens an unpublished page draft with the block inserted and that menu already selected. Review the preview, then publish the page when it is ready.
Use the manual steps below when adding a menu to an existing page or when you want to build the page layout yourself.
Inserting the block #
Open the block inserter (the + button) and search for steuard.

- Type steuard in the search box.
- Choose Steuard Menu (the Steuard Reviews block lives here too, in the "Steuard Blocks" category).
Choosing the menu #
With the block selected, open the Block tab in the settings sidebar.

- The canvas shows a live preview of the selected menu exactly as the front end renders it.
- Menu lists every published Menu post. Pick one; the preview updates immediately.
That is the whole block. Draft menus are not offered — publish the Menu post first.
Changing how the menu looks #
Everything else — layout style, columns, which item details show, price and size presentation, colors and fonts, hidden items, and text before or after the menu — is saved on the Menu post under Steuard → Menus. Open the menu there and use its Layout, Display, and Overrides tabs; the change reaches every page that displays it. See Creating a Menu for each setting.
To show several menus on one page, stacked or as tabs, create a Combined Menu post and select it in the block. See Displaying Multiple Menus as Tabs.

Prefer a shortcode? #
Every Menu post shows its copy-ready shortcode — for example [steuard_menu id="123"] — below its editor. The shortcode works in the block editor too when placed in a Shortcode block, and it is the right choice for page builders. See the Steuard Menu Shortcode Reference.
