Missing Toast locations or menus usually mean that the credential does not include that location, the location GUID is missing, or the credential lacks menu-read access. Start at Steuard → Menu Options → Connections and click Test Connection.
If the test succeeds but Fetch Locations from API fails, the credential may not be allowed to use Toast's restaurant-list endpoint. In Toast Web, copy the location GUID from Integrations → Toast API access → Manage credentials or the credential confirmation email. Back in Steuard, click + Add Location, enter a recognizable name and the exact GUID, and click Save Changes.
If the location appears but menus do not:
- Confirm the Toast credential includes that location and the
menus:readscope. - Confirm the location uses the same API environment as the hostname and credentials.
- Leave all Channel Filter boxes unchecked temporarily, click Save Changes, and reload Steuard → Menu Options → Dashboard.
- Open Steuard → Add New Menu → Toast (or an existing Toast Menu post) and look for the menu by name in the Toast menu dropdown.
If the menu is present on the dashboard but absent from a page, follow My menu isn't showing on the page. If it is still missing from the dashboard, send support the safe details in What should I send Steuard support?.
