Steuard 2.5 included a one-time automatic migration for existing Menu Crafter settings, connections, saved blocks, shortcodes, widgets, and classic-editor configuration. If that migration has already run on your site, keep Steuard installed and verify the result before removing any old plugin files.
Back up the database first, then check:
- Steuard → Menu Options → Connections for the expected providers and locations.
- Steuard → Menus for the expected Menu posts.
- Existing menu pages for converted Steuard blocks and
[steuard_menu]shortcodes. - Steuard → Reviews for the expected Review post and its moderation settings.
If you are attempting a direct migration now, skipped the original 2.5 upgrade, or any data did not carry over, do not delete Menu Crafter or re-enter everything yet. Current Steuard releases no longer run that original one-time routine. Restore your backup if necessary and contact support with both version numbers so the safest migration path can be determined.
