Go to Wyregraf → Options → Embeddings & Vector Profiles and add the post type to Embedding enabled post types. Posts and Pages are enabled by default; any public post type on your site — products, docs, portfolio items — can be added.
Once enabled, the post type's content shows up as a choice under the Posts content source when you create an embedding. Enabling a post type doesn't index anything by itself — content is only sent for indexing when you create the embedding and run its queue.
