Every released version of Manifyst, from 2.1.0 back to 2.0.0.
2.1.0 #
- Redesigned public pages: event page, signup form, sign-up sheet, events list, My Signups, and the cancel pages share one clean design that is easier to scan on phones and desktops.
- Event pages show a date tile, the event's time range, and "Pick a shift" rows with how many spots are open and who signed up.
- The sign-up sheet has one "Sign up · 2 open" button per slot instead of one per open position, a separate waitlist button, and stacks into blocks on phones.
- New: an optional featured image per event. It shows on the event page, on the sheet layouts, and as a thumbnail in the events list, and it becomes the event post's featured image for your theme and SEO plugin.
- New setting: use the Manifyst heading font (Jost) on public pages. Off by default, so headings match your theme.
- The events list shows how many shifts and open spots each event has, or how many items are still needed.
- The signup form keeps keyboard focus inside while open, and an item's quantity and note boxes turn on when you tick the item.
- Your brand color: set
--manifyst-accentin your theme's CSS to recolor every Manifyst button and link.
2.0.1 #
- Editors can now manage every event, slot, and signup in wp-admin; Authors can manage the events they create or organize. Neither gets plugin settings.
- The Activity Log is now available to Editors and Authors; Authors see only activity on their own events.
- Editors and Authors are no longer redirected out of wp-admin by the front-end manager lockdown.
- Fix: slot times now follow your time format everywhere (event page, My Signups, cancel page, emails, admin slot list), including on Date TBD events that showed raw times like "16:00:00".

- Spam-protected signups: honeypot plus per-IP rate limiting on the public signup endpoint
- Ships in English, Portuguese (Brazil), French, and Spanish; every attendee-facing string is translatable
- Warns when another plugin already owns the event URL base, with a one-click route to change it
- Custom database tables with migrations for events, slots, signups, and activity log
- Waitlists with automatic promotion when a confirmed spot frees up
- Ledger-audited capacity tracking with a Stock History admin screen and CSV export
- Secure token-based cancellation links with rate-limited public endpoints
- Password-protected events with WordPress-native unlock forms, direct-link-only discovery, gated signup data, and automatic page-cache suppression
- Email notifications: confirmation, cancellation, reminders, waitlist promotion
- Check-in support and signup activity logging
- New shortcodes:
[manifyst_event],[manifyst_events],[manifyst_my_signups] - Recurring events on any iCal schedule, with per-date pages and this-date / following / whole-series edit scopes
- Date-TBD and no-date events: publish a sheet before the date is set, with a per-event date display choice
- Event categories with grouped display: one shortcode shows a whole season as a list or inline sheets
- Sign-up-sheet and committee table layouts with numbered positions, task descriptions, and section heading rows
- Signup modal: the form opens in place from any slot row and the new name lands in the sheet without a reload
- Manager-added signups: email optional, silent by default, with an opt-in confirmation email
- Per-event "require an email address" setting; managers and admins can always leave the email blank
- Silent-cancel option when cancelling a signup from the admin panel (self-service cancels always notify)
- One-click importer for the legacy DLS Sign-up Sheets plugin (structure only by default, full history optional)
- Capacity 0 creates a placeholder row: visible on the sheet but closed until a manager opens it
- Manual slot reordering and a View link to each event's public page from the events table
- Fixed: changing an event's slug now updates the permalink (the old URL redirects)
- Fixed: clearing a slot's date or time now saves, and capacity edits apply on dateless slots
- Fixed: the standard layout's availability counter updates after a signup
